The Australian Computational and Linguistics Competition (OzClo)
Ozclo is a problem solving, code breaking, linguistics challenge using real and dead languages to decipher messages. This is timed, online, and completed in mixed year teams of four.

Our Academic Enrichment programme is designed to inspire curiosity and extend learning beyond the classroom. In Primary, students engage in dynamic, cross-year groups that encourage collaboration and challenge, with placement guided by both academic data and teacher insight. In Secondary, extension is embedded into school life through a range of invite-only and open programs that run alongside regular classes, giving students ongoing opportunities to grow, explore their interests, and reach their full potential.

Da Vinci Decathlon is designed to stimulate the minds and academic gifts of students through challenging competitions across 10 disciplines: Engineering, Mathematics, Codebreaking, Art and Poetry, Science, English, Ideation, Creative Producers, Cartography, and Legacy. Teams of eight compete in mixed year group teams.

ToM is a problem-solving program which aims to enhance the potential of our youth by developing diverse skills, enterprise, time management, and the discipline to work collaboratively within a challenging and competitive environment. In teams, students choose a challenge from the following disciplines: STEM, The Arts, Language and Literature, and/or the Social Sciences.
The Thinkers Conference is a day of philosophical lectures and workshops examining universal questions in collaboration with other students.

What Matters is an online writing competition open to all Australian students aiming to build civic engagement. This is run as a one day writing workshop.
a chance to be historians, researching world history, examining Australia’s past, investigating their community or exploring their own roots. This is run as an afterschool club.
Run by Newcastle University and the Rotary Club, this day long competition sees 32 Year 9/10 students compete in teams of four to complete a series of STEM challenges.
Competing against International and National schools over Zoom, a team of 5-6 students will discuss complicated ethical case studies to arrive at ethical solutions. This involves preparation, critical thought, strong speaking skills, and deep philosophical understanding.
In the WACH’s Think Tank, Year 10/11 students are presented with a real health problem facing the regions and create, ideate, and pitch an idea to health professionals for consideration.
This is a mixed year competition held in Busselton involving philosophical debate, Socratic discussion, and ethical reflection.
Berbas is a fun and engaging computational thinking challenge that involves over 2.9 million students from 60 countries. This is run by the mathematics department.
This is an exciting mathematics initiative that uses a quiz-night format. Teams of six students race against the clock to solve four intense rounds of eight challenging problem. This is run by the Mathematics department.
