Drama forms part of the Performing Arts curriculum, encouraging creativity, confidence and communication through movement, role-play and performance.

Music and Performing Arts offer students rich opportunities to express themselves, build confidence and connect with others through creativity and performance.
From the early years through to Senior Secondary, students are encouraged to explore their interests in music and drama, develop technical skills, and take part in performances that bring our community together. Taught by specialist staff, these programs balance structured learning with joy, collaboration and self-expression.


Music is woven into the student experience from the very beginning.
In the Early Learning years, students explore sound, rhythm and movement, developing a love of music through singing, instruments and creative play.
Throughout Primary School, students build foundational skills in reading, playing and creating music. Year 3 students are introduced to a string instrument. Year 4 students learn the recorder. Year 5 students extend their skills through wind instruments.
These experiences nurture musical confidence and open pathways for further study.

We are proud that many Grammar graduates have continued their passion for Drama and gone on to further study, including acceptance into the WA Academy of Performing Arts.

Students may elect to study Drama through to graduation, with pathways available at Senior Secondary level. Students develop skills in performance, production and critical analysis, while learning to work collaboratively and respond creatively to ideas and texts.
Primary, Secondary or whole School - offer students the opportunity to take part in a large-scale live performance, both on stage and behind the scenes. These productions are a highlight of the School calendar and a valued shared experience for our community.
