The Wardandi people are the coastal people and have strong links to this area. With respect to the current Wardandi people and ancestors of the past we thank them for accepting us. Pre-Kindy/Kindy

Pre-Kindy (Little Grammies) and Kindergarten at Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School are specialised early learning programs for children aged 3–5 years. Designed and delivered by experienced educators, they blend purposeful play, creativity and structure to build confidence, curiosity and belonging - all within the natural environment and supportive culture of Grammar.

Mrs Gers is our pre-kindy teacher with a philosophy of learning through play. She comes with a lot of experience and love to teach the children using her third teacher her classroom environment. Mrs Gers is a big advocate for listening to children’s cues and responding to what those children need in the moment and by doing this her students all learn and become confident learners ready for their next step in their educational journey.

Ms Kelly obtained her Early Childhood Teaching degree in 2024 and has since created a welcoming, intriguing and exciting kindy class. Her love of crafts and events means she engages every one of her students every day and they are so excited to come to school and learn!

Mrs Wolfe has been working with children for over 15 years and teaching for 6. Her engaging and welcoming classroom acts as a third teacher and inspires her students to feel safe and confident and grow as new learners as they explore their learning environment.

Pre-Kindy (Little Grammies)

Little Grammies is our specialised Pre-Kindergarten program for 3-year-olds, delivered two days per week by experienced early childhood educators. The program supports children as they begin learning in a group setting, building confidence, friendships and a sense of belonging.

Play as Learning

Play is used intentionally as a powerful tool for learning, supporting social, emotional and cognitive development in ways that feel natural and engaging for young children.

Discovery and Creativity

Children explore their world through art, music, movement and imaginative play, developing curiosity, creativity and early communication skills.

Kindergarten

Our Kindergarten program is a learning experience delivered over four full days per week, supporting children as they prepare for the transition to Primary School. The program balances structured learning with play, within a warm and engaging school environment.
